A pretty good read. Another catering job for Madeline and someone dies while she is giving her party. This one is the biggest job of her career and now what is she gonna do? Gonna have to read it to find out! :)

1st in the Madeline Bean catering mysteries. Very well done, good plot, interesting main characters. I had read the 4th or 5th book in the series before this one, so it was nice to get a copy of this and find out the origins of the characters and get a clearer picture of where everybody was coming from.

I enjoyed this. Found it funny and well written. My second in this series and I will definitely read the others. Really like the character of Madeline. She's pretty cool! This is a great cozy series.

The newly late Mr. Huntley was presumed. that's certain. But the number of suspects with a yen to send Bruno to the devil could fill and audition for extras in the next Quentin Tarantino flick. When Westley is arrested for the murder because of a long-standing dispute with the maniacal mogul, Madeline knows he couldn't be guilty. But to prove it, she has to wade through the muck of a mudslinging family, outrun a pair of crazed canines, dodge a pair of well-aimed bullets and expose a slew of secrets that could put a soap opera to shame.
