Somi Anuntra Miller is one of the best known and most highly rewarded Thai chefs in Australia. She learnt her culinary skills the tradiional Thai way, from her aunt who was a palace cook to the Thai royal family in Bangkok. Somi opened her first restaurant in Bangkok, larer married an Australian and then moved to Sydney. Her restaurant, " Somi's " on the beachfront at Manly is considered among the finest Thai restaurants in Sydney.
Patricia Lake is a freelance journalist and writer who has a strong interest in food and cooking. She has travelled extensively throughout Thailand researching the food and ingredients and delighting in the Thai way of life.
