That included one back-and-forth PM to make sure I didn't mind that the dust jacket was missing. Thank you, member-who-is-as-OCD-as-me (that's her indian name).

I'm like that, too!  At least in the summer.  I was just fixing to go to the PO once to mail a book but checked my e-mail before I left and had a request so I printed out the label quickly and went off to mail the book.  I think the "Accepted" scan came up quicker than the "Shipping Info Received" information on the DC.  ;)

Several times I've been on printing labels and had an order come through and ended up mailing that one within an hour or two of being ordered.

Same with me .... I usually pick the longest mailing date for the first book going out in a particular week, and then each book ordered before I mail has a successively shorter mail-by date ... and it has happened that some go out within an hour or two of being ordered!

Now you just jinxed yourself. That book really isn't in the mail, its sitting on her table and she'll get around to dropping it in the mailbox in a few weeks :P

well a couple of times I thought the person I was ordering from sent it too fast.  I thought I didn't get a chance to look and see if there were other books i could order with this one.
