I am not a westerns reader, but this is set in Arizona and the gal is named Jennifer...I had to read it! I'm glad I did. It was really good! Good enough that I would read more by Bill Pronzini. It wasn't too western-y. My dad, who is a BIG westerns reader, read this as well and thought it was really good.
