what exactly is a tag... I looked at info on site, but still don't understand it.  Does tagging a book, help you get a request from others? Not sure what it is all about. thanks debbie

Tags won't necessarily help you get book requests unless people are searching for books based on the "tags" you use.  But, in theory, yes, people could "find" your books based on searching for something like "memoir" or "Las Vegas" or anything else you put in a tag.

The only real way they would help you get an order is if someone found a book you have through a tag and you happened to have the only copy or the next copy in line.

I use Tags when I have an odd ISBN.  When all the wishers are under the primary ISBN.  I'll put the other ISBN in a Tag on the primary listing, something like "Also listed as xxx" to help direct folks to the odd ISBN.

I also label reprints with a Tag whenever I see them.  Especially if it is a new title for an old book.
