I've always enjoyed this Savich/Sherlock FBI series. The book prior to this one was not that great and I'm disappointed to say this one was only slightly better.
There are 2 plots going on which was great; however, the ending was a letdown. It seemed like the stories were moving along interestingly and then they just ended. I felt like the author was writing away and then all the sudden got tired and stopped.
I'd say the first three-quarters of this book is great...but the last quarter, I'd be stretching to give it 1 star.
I have avidly followed Catherine Coulter's FBI series, and have totally enjoyed it. This book, a relatively new one in the series, did not move as fast as the others. The premise was a little weak but I still enjoyed it.
Currently 0.5/5 Stars.

My first Coulter book and my last. First chapter was interesting but it went downhill from there. I was so bored!!! I like some romance in my reading and there was 0 romance in this book. The characters were shallow and the storyline silly. But that's my opinion. I read a lot of the reviews and some people love this writer, so different strokes for different folks, I guess. I like Nora Roberts, Carla Neggars, Susan Wiggs, etc. Coulter is totally NOT that type of writer.
I read some of the reviews that were not too favorable, which surprised me. I really enjoyed this book. I thought the characters were very well written and believable. The byplay between Jack and Rachael was perfect. I had a hard time putting the book down.
