I just received a message from a PBS friend whose generosity amazed me. So I would like to buy two people a membership for a year.  You don't have to sell/trade any credits or do anything else -- I will be happy to pay for the same level of membership that I have. My understanding is that I can purchase a membership gift certificate starting tomorrow, so I would like to do this. 

From where I sit, the only fair way of doing this is taking people first come, first served, so the first two people who reply to this message (and who absolutely cannot afford it by the 15th, who have not accepted another offer and who would like a full year of membership in order to stay in PBS) will get the memberships as of tomorrow.

Just to let you know - the people who would benefit from this (a la Carte members) have no way to PM you unless they ordered a book from you, since PBS has instituted the new membership policy. (I'm assuming you haven't reached your two-person limit yet)
