A wonderful introduction to Dickens' great novel! I would even recommend it to middle and high schoolers who have to read "A Tale of Two Cities" for class. It does not by any means replace the novel, but reading it with the novel helps with story comprehension. It is much easier to enjoy a book if you can understand what is going on!

Also, there are actually two stories in this book: one based on "A Tale of Two Cities" and the other is a story about Wishbone dealing with David's little sister and her friend. The illustrations are also beautifully detailed.
