I found this book really helpful when I was a new mom with a newborn baby and a toddler. The reading is presented in almost haiku form - so, something definitely doable for a new mom. Each reading is like a little meditation; they range in topics from anger to clarity and listening. It is written by the same woman who wrote Infant Massage: A Handbook for Loving Parents.
I very much am enjoying this book.
It is short, and to the point yet makes you think about things. If I had the chance to give it up or keep it, I would keep it and also give as a gift.
It embraces the love you have as a mother and helps you direct it. Very meaningful and needs to remain in my library.
