ISBN 0679806687 - As a huge crime wave hits New York, from the sewers beneath the city, four mutant turtles emerge to become heroes. When reporter April O'Neil is attacked, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michaelangelo come to her rescue. They disappear before they're spotted, returning to the sewers and their master, Splinter. As they tell him what happened and plan to clean up all crime in the city, April appears on the television to report on a secret force of do-gooders who rescued her. Splinter reminds them that they must never be seen... and Michaelangelo orders pizza.

Are these guys still cool? Well, even if they're not, they are. TMNT fans and collectors will want these cute little books and young readers will enjoy discovering them all over. The illustrations aren't as good as the cartoon, but they're still fairly decent and colorful. Turtle power!
