I don't think anything can really "Prepare" anyone for the "real world", but being armed with this book can certainly give any young adult/teenager a big step in the right direction. Common sense taught to teenagers in a way they can understand and will retain in the future. My daughter read this when she was in high school, 8 years ago, and can testify that the contents of this book are useful for anyone getting ready to step out into the "real world".
Delivers "outside of school" education. It fully prepares teenagers for the real world.
I read this book when I was in HS, I recieved as a gift from the Author at a convention I went to, after asking him a question that he deemed "The Best he's ever been asked"- The copy I have for swap here on PBS is showing some wear but its almost 8 years old! (Also Autographed by the Author!)
