I purchased this book for my son's younger brother, in hopes of helping him understand his brother's point of view. The book is BETTER than I expected and not only did it help his brother, I asked my family to read it, along with my son's teachers. It is a quick read (under 20 minutes, and each left hand page shows a cartoon drawn from the point of view of the child with AS. Even glancing at the cartoons enables the reader to "get it". AS (used to be diagnosed as PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorder)is a new term and many teachers don't know about it, but all of them have been quite willing to learn and help my son. Amazon currently sells this as part of their 4-for-3 promotion, so I bought four and gave one to the principal and one to the homeroom teacher last year, and another to the homeroom teacher this year. I've heard nothing but positive feedback and if any copies of this book end up on PBS, I'll be surprised, it's that helpful. You may need to purchase it ($9.95) but it is well worth it! God bless!
