did anyone get a free box of books from tellharlequin for christmas. What books did you get? Someone dropped off a box at my house while I was at work. told my hubby that it was delivered to their house by mistake. The box was opened and it looks like one of the books is missing. I was just wondering if I was missing a book. I got a puzzle book and a romance- heroine has 3 or 4 kids, hero bought her ranch and cant keep the kids off it.

Yes, I got it.  The books, there should have been 5 of the same book.  Then, a separate package with the puzzle book.

OK so I wasn't missing a book in the package?  cool..I was a little ticked that it was opened, then a little more ticked because I thought they took one of the books. good to know the neighbor was just nosey, not dishonest.

I got the same thing--a Silhouette Special Edition entitled The Cowboy's Christmas Miracle and The Total Brain Workout.  My box was partially opened as well and I too had thought that some books had fallen out.  I wonder why the box was opened?

I got the same two books:  The Cowboy's Christmas Miracle and The Total Brain Workout.  Though not a keeper, I thought the book was pretty good and enjoyed the first few pages of the puzzle book, but after those first few pages, my brain gave up!

I got 4 copies of The Cowboy's Christmas Miracle, too. No puzzle book though.

This is the third shipment of books. All of them the same to give away. Mediocre books at that. I'm getting pretty tired of Harlequin USING me to hawk their books for them. Plus they send the Christmas books AFTER Christmas, when it might have been nice to read or give away a Christmas book. :sad2:  This program is not what I expected. They also send out surveys right before holidays, or during the busiest times of life and expect people to drop everything to fill them out.  My view of Harlequin goes down with each interaction with this program. The people working this program and at Harlequin don't seem to be the brightest bulbs. I should have just stuck to reading the books.

Brandy, I wouldn't be too upset with your neighbor. The cover of the book does say Free Gift. They probably figured you got 3 of them so you'd probably giving them away anyway. This book isn't like a coveted bestseller. :P

I'm irritated with them too, especially with them sending edited books. Who the heck wants those? I keep thinking I should quit the program.

The brain teaser book was a reward for filling out one of their surveys, btw, so perhaps that's why you didn't receive it.

I love the program. I only get one copy of the books and have WEEKS to finish them and the surveies. Since the books are so short and easy to read. I can usually finish one in a few hours, so I have never taken all the time it allows. I just wish they would send me more free books....just leave me off the "love inspired" list. I don't really care for those.

I got 2 free books in November but then I didn't get a survey in the mail but no puzzle :(

I don't know about this Program since it seems like just extra books they are trying to get rid of. I don't see any purpose for the Program.
