A very good book. I have to admit to crying at parts in this book. The storyline was so much more "real life" than fantasy. This was an established couple who had been married for 10 years when the wife's secret from the past is exposed. It has more of a this could really happen feel to it than some romance books have. You'll see what I mean if you read it. I really enjoyed it.

Tessa Logan's past has suddenly caught up with her. She never told her husband of 10 years about the accident that resulted in two fatalities. She never told him about the drug arrest. She never told him about her stint in prison. She knew Dan's honesty and integrity as a District Attorney would not let him look at her the same way. Now a man from her past has tracked her down and wants her back. If he can't have her, he'll expose her past mistakes to her husband and the community.

This was an interesting book. Kathryn Shay's characters alway seem like real people with real problems. I was torn between being upset with Dan's reaction to the secrets his wife had kept from him; and understanding that I would be very mad too if someone had done the same thing to me.
