You know, I usually enjoy Carr books, but I found the heroine of this novel soooo annoying. Why did the hero love her? Why did her sister adore her? I would have slapped her silly and called it a game! On the other hand, maybe a reader with more empathy or another point of view would totally get her. That's what's cool about books---every reader approaches them with a different perspective.

This early contemporary by Robyn Carr is about a young woman who is trying to cope with being a single mother and working. She becomes involved with a young minister but really doesn't have faith and can't see herself as a minister's wife.
