1st in the trilogy. Very well written. Enjoyed it and could not put it down. Was very glad all three books were out and did not have to wait months to find out what happens next.

This was a good book. Frustrating at times, but maybe that's good because it proves that the story was able to draw me in. Very good lead in to the Brides of the Bloodstone Trilogy.

Granted this is the first book in the Brides of the Bloodstone trilogy but so far not as entertaining as the MacDonell Brides trilogy. This story didn't "suck me in" like the MacDonell Brides and I found myself having a difficult time staying focused during parts of the story but it was still a decent read.
