In the style of Ten Little Indians, Ten Little Chicks counts down from 10 to 1 as the group wanders the farm and, one by one, they drop out of group activities. Not to worry about the one lonely chick, however! That chick finds all his friends tucked up in their nest.

The pages are standard board book, sturdy enough to stand up to toddlers and thick enough for small fingers to turn easily. The rhyme, by Belinda Bagley is cute and smooth and Lesley K. Blackman's illustrations are bright, colorful and super cute. Not the best counting book in the world, but children will enjoy it. Marked for children of 1-3 years.
