Just another one of Connie Mason's illogical, all-over-the-place-emotionally (love-hate-love, suspicion-trust-suspicion) romances. I've read four of hers now, trying to fathom her popularity, and this one is definitely my last. Her odd, abupt style of writing and shallow characterizations are actually humorous after awhile.
