Ann Christopher has become my author to watch. She is an amazing storyteller. Tender Secrets is one of the best romance novels I've read this year. The story centers around journalist Viveca Jackson and her quest to destroy the wealthy Warner family. Viveca grew up in a poor family and her father worked at a Warner factory. When her father was involved in a company machine accident that cost him his arm, the problems for Viveca's family spiraled out of control. Her father subsequently became an alcoholic and died. Now, years later, Viveca has set out to write an expose on the Warner family and wreak vengeance against the entire family. The Warner matriarch has agreed to allow Viveca access to the family so that she can write a book "favorable" to the Warners. When Viveca meets handsome playboy Andrew Warner sparks set off immediately. Although Andrew doesn't like the idea of a journalist writing a family sage, he thinks Viveca is sexy and gorgeous. When Andre gets to know Viveca better he starts believing that she is the woman who can melt his stone cold heart. But as Viveca's feelings for Andrew start to deepen she knows that it's only a matter of time until her deception comes to light. This is a great book full of seduction, attraction, heartache and love. I read this in less than a day. So good I couldn't put it down.
