This is a nurses' book. Not just for nurses. But if you want to really read about some of the horrors and joys that a nurse sees, this is a good one to read. You will cry with some of the stories, both sad and wonderful. This is a compilations of interviews done by Echo Heron, RN, of stories told by other nurses. Includes a section on nurses who were present at the Oklahoma City Bombing.

From penitentiary nurses supervising a murder's execution to nurses giving vitamin C to whiny stars on movie sets, who knew there were so many types of nurse jobs. Even for someone who has read many nurse books; this is a fascinating book with very little hospital politics.
