Terry McCarthy is a new author born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He wrote several screenplays and short stories in his younger years, went into advertising, and now owns his own veterinary clinic with his wife, Dr. Therese McCarthy, in South Lyon: Dandy Acres Small Animal Hospital.

He has written two novels, the Sword of Hannibal, and The Wrath of Alexander the Great. Both are historical fiction, action-adventure tales set in real history.
