Just a heads up. This is one of my favorite classics.

I watched - thought it was great! I read the novel so long ago that I had forgotten several important developments. Looking forward to part 2 next week. I really like the actor playing Angel.

A new adaption of Wuthering Heights airs after Tess. It will also air in two parts.

I'm not sure I can handle the second part. Tess is so good, and gets such a raw deal.  Gemma Arterton is great. I can't say I was enamored by either of the men.....One too much of a cad and one too goody goody. I get angrier at Angel than Alec.

Tess does get a raw deal. My daughter watched the movie with me which has inspired her to read the book. I had an old paperback of the book on a shelf in the family room. She is excited to read the book but I know she will be dismayed with the ending.
