Topic: Testing Legislature in TN got rolled back 3 weeks in Sub-Committee

There is currently a bill in TN house of representatives that would make Gateway testing and end-of-course testing required for all private and homeschools (as it already is in the public schools).  The reasoning that the representative that introduced the bill gave was to "help the public school children pass the test."  How this helps them, no one can say.

Anywho....HSLDA has information on the bill itself under is legislature watch (I know many don't like them, but I do like to keep track of legislature in my state, and they are the best ones to watch).

Just thought I would pass the information on.
