Whoever it was who recommended The Bachelor's Cat---thank you! I just read the book in about 20 minutes and handed it to a friend who is here for  a meeting. What a delightful and "true" book. I know it's fiction but it was a book that was more truthful about what love really is than a lot of non-fiction.

We should have this as an ongoing thread.  I'm always needing to thank someone here for a recommendation.

Ditto about Bachelor's Cat.  I enjoyed it plus sent a copy to a friend in NY who also enjoyed the book.  Thank you to Lynn D (Doughgirl) for recommending the book.

I'm glad you all are enjoying it!   Have to admit that I was a little scared to recommend it because is soooooo different.   But I just love this little novella and re-read it at least once a year.    And cry every single time!

Bumping this thread to say thank you to Seton and anyone else that recommended WILD OATS by Pamela Morsi. Stayed up late last night to finish it. Today I started GARTERS. I love these early 1900's Americana books.

I've never heard of The Bachelor's Cat! I'll definitely add it to my RL. :)

Just read LADY JANE, an old regency by Norma Lee Clark. This had to be someone's recommendation since I'd never heard of this author. After I got past the abuse of the heroine as a young girl, I couldn't put it down. I'll be looking for more by this author.

I've never read Patricia Briggs (I had to look up up who wrote the Thompson series) but I'm jotting her down in my notebook - been using the 40% off Borders coupons like crazy lately, found some more trade pbs I want to get later on, and have Tim Downs and now Patricia Briggs in my notebook. I hope this thread stays alive for a while!

I want to thank Sherri for the recommend for Patricia Brigg and her Mercy Thompson series, i am officially hooked. I would find it hard to choose between those two hard bodies too! But I know who I am voting for. :-)

Just finished my first Linda Lael Miller and loved it. Other NTM authors I've liked that I've found on the boards include Jill Shalvis, Louisa Edwards, and a whole slew that I have the first of a series on WL or on my TBR, so I'll add more along the way after I've tried. Waiting in the batter's box I have Mary Wine, Irene Hannon,Jami Alden, Janice Thompson, Lori Wilde, Lucy Monroe, Shannon McKenna, and a few more.

Just want to say thank you to Keri M. and Sherri for recommending Kylie Brant's Mindhunter series. I read the first book today and can't wait to get the others. Best romantic suspense, mystery thriller I've read lately. Loved that it takes place in Savannah where I'm visiting this weekend.

I was recommending books to my sister who is going through a hard time with her husband right now, and I realized that Bertie had recommended them to me. I would never have read that hilarious series by Sharon Sala had you not recommended it. Muchas Gracias, Bertie.

Another one was the reader here who recommended Flowers from the Storm! What a great book, what a great author, and I would never have read it because of the Fabio cover!

Also, I remember Kim recommending Maggie Osborne to me. I love her books and Kim gave me a swap opportunity to her entire keeper shelf! Thanks, Kim.
