PM me with something you're thankful for and I'll add 1 book

Read and order books based on the below instructions and

add one (1) extra book for free. Just say tell me something you're truly thankful for in a the PM.

Here's why Media Mail is so great!

One book costs $2.47 no matter how big or little if it's 1 pound or less. Each extra pound is only $.42. That means about 10 books can easily be mailed for the cost of just one more regular book credit. The problem is covering the first book credit. If all you order or send is 1 or 2 small books, that's the first pound. It's the SECOND pound and each one thereafter that's really a great deal for both parties.

If you're ordering, widen your interests. This is the time to get anything else that looks interesting. You'll find a lot of experimental books that you can pick up for really cheap. Consider giving books to others. I've even ordered calculus books for a bright high school student really into math.

Now for my offer.

(Remember: add 1 extra book for telling me something you're truly thankful for)

I will send you 2 paperbacks for 1 credit for the first book credit. That's 2 for 1 to start the order process.  (3 for 1 if you're willing to share what you're thankful for.)

I will send you 10 of ANY books for each additional book credit. Pick which deal you want.

2 for 1 credit.
12 for 2 (equals 6 per 1 credit).
22 books for 3 credits (equals 7 for 1 credit)

32 books for 4 credits (equals 8 for 1 credit)
If you spend 5 credits, I'll send you 50 books (that's 10 for 1 PLUS your extra Thanksgiving book)

Simply reply to this post, order the right number of books from my shelf, and tell the few of us in the PBS world what you're thankful for. I hope others read and appreciate the things you are thankful for, too.

This ends Sunday evening, Nov. 25, 2012 but first come, first served on the books on my bookshelf.

I will order the first two, the others are my freebies.

What am thankful for: I suppose I should say my kids. BUT, that is the typical reply.

I am thankful that I have free will given to me by God. I am thankful that I am American, I am free, I am thankful that I have food, clothing and housing. I will be unemployed at the end of the year, yet I am thankful that I have skills, talent and a work ethic that will allow me to land another position. I am thankful that I was given the skills to tackle life, and I passed those skills onto my two adult sons. Lastly, I am thankful for PBS and the Book Bazaar, as it allows me to find wonderful folks who share my love of reading, and I am able to get great deals like this one.
