I'm sure those multiple posts were not done on purpose. Sometimes computers "hiccup" or the post topic button is hit more than once.  This can cause the same topic to post repeatedly.  You'll often see someone who had multiple posts in a row edit out the additonal ones with  "oops double post".

That is nice when they edit out the extra posts but it still leaves them taking up space.

I also get annoyed when this happens.

If you click on the last post you will usually find that the person has left a note of apology. That is nice, but if I have posted something thier multiple posts will still put me to the second page faster. I am thinking that a lot of people only read the first page of posts. I do this. And I am quite normaL   -    lol.

I have decided that clicking on the multiple posts looking for an apology is not a good idea. The number of times a post is clicked on shows. Then someone may get the idea that multiple posts are looked at. I think the best idea is to ignore them.

I am not much of a computer expert, but I do not think this problem is readily solvable. I would take someone, or something, to monitor the posts. I am thinking that would be a cost. I am glad that PBS is basically free.

I just do not look at, or order from, a multiple poster, and I bump myself up the allowed number of times per day.

I did not think the computer took my first click because it was running slow.

This is almost funny.

I went and edited my second reply but it is still there.

Now I am the one to apologize.

I am sorry.

Also, as I understand a certain member was running rather rampid thru the bazaar during the last couple weeks and is no longer a member, so maybe it will settle back down to one post per member at a time, with one bump per day of any kind, and we can go back to playing nice again. I think it just gets stirred up every so often, but now seems to be settling down.

I am thinking that a lot of people only read the first page of posts.

I strictly read the book bazaar by date.  So if I go in today, I will only look at new posts for the 20th since I've already looked at anyone's shelf I might have been interested in that posted yesterday.  So sometimes depending on what time I log on, it many times takes me to page 2.

It's unfortunate we are not able to completely delete a post when we no longer want it up.
