Layout, basics, methods, and diagnosis. "Gary had the highest reading score in the entire 6th grade. Arithmetic skills are much improved; at one time his achievement in arithmetic had been below grade level. Gary was recommended for a special progress class in junior high school. In the transference relationship with the worker Gary was able to counter and dilute some of the destructive influence of his mother, who generated extraordinary anxiety and guilt in the boy through her unconscious, seductive behavior."
