I could not like this book (& quit reading it about three-quarters through) because I could not like the narrator. Anorexia is often referred to a selfish disease, but even Messenger takes the cake when it comes to being so. It is no wonder she made so much out of her own appearance when that is all she seemed to care about in others, especially in regards to dating.
