vampires....and I can't believe I am saying that lol Most of the paranormal I have been reading has been other beings, mostly weres and warriors. I tried to read a vamp book since I have to review it and I couldn't. I just kept getting annoyed. I love vampires, I would usually choose them before any and I have since I was like 10 and my oldest sister started reading Anne Rice lol

Any one else getting tired of any particular paranormal? I hope it's just a stage I'm going through lol

Not any particular paranormal, but I do have to occassionally read some other genre (usually a mystery) because I find myself getting kind of "burned out" on vamps and weres and zombies, oh my!

I can't say that I am getting sick of any particular type of character - vampire, were, etc - but I do get tired of the type of paranormal book.  I have to change it up by reading a para romance, urban fantasy, were, etc.  or I get burned out reading one right after the other...  have to mix it up some...  and it depends on the mood I am in - kiss-a$$ mood?  have to read a kick-a$$ book!  laugh

Sometimes I need to step away from the paranormal world and read something else too. Never for long though lol

I have to switch genres often... otherwise it feels like I'm reading the same book over and over...

I rotate through several different genres so I don't burn out either. For now vamps are okay many different portrayals of them.

I went months and months and months just reading Paranormal Romances. I didnt think I would ever tire of them, lol. Soon enough I did! No worries though. I just switch them around now. Contemperaries, romantic suspense, YA, every now and then I'll throw a historical in there. But I always come back to PNR eventually.

I could never give up PNR...I always come back to it, its been my first love ever since I started reading Fear Street lol But lately I cant stand the vamps, or maybe its just cause I have been on a were kick? I dunno, something about those wolves lol

fated mates don't bother me too much if it's done well...

I've been reading historical mysteries just to take a break from paranormal.  I was getting burned out also.  I'm back to paranormal smiley.  Reading Kitty and the Silver Bullet.

I'm actually working my way through all the horror I've collected recently. I've taken a long break from paranormal. I've had Sin Undone on my ereader for a while now and I just haven't had the desire to read it. How horrible is that? I love the Demonica series too.

Im just getting started on this genre, thanks to PBS!! Im reading book 1 of the Felix Gomez series (Nymphos of Rocky Flats) and its really good. I started the Sookie series and wasn't crazy about the first one but somehow forced myself to read the second one and I really liked that. I also have a few others that Ive collected at Goodwill.

How about the Jim Butcher (author) series? That looks really interesting. Im more into the suspense/thriller and human v. other struggle within as opposed to the erotica aspect.

Im also interested in Zombies.

I love the Felix Gomez series.  I'm up to Werewolf Smackdown.

I just started book 2 of the Dresden Files, Fool Moon. So far, so good.  The first one took a little time to get into since I was comparing to the series.  The Kitty Norville (Carrie Vaughan) and Kate Daniels (Ilona Andrews) series are really good.  There's more action than romance.

Sometimes i feel that way and then i find a series that i LOVE and i am back. I picked up the Chicagoland Vampire series not expecting much and I ended up ignoring my family for the next couple days lol. But i do like to switch up genres for sure.
