If I mail a kindle paperwhite which is used for reading only can I mail it Media Mail????

No.  I will go look for the link for you, for what is eligible to be mailed at Media Mail rates, but short answer:  No.

If the new paperwhite is anything like my regular e-ink Kindle, it's not true that you can only use it for reading. It's not a full-featured tablet like the Kindle Fire, true, but most of them do have wifi and/or 3/4G internet access and you can browse the web, etc., even though it's in black and white and not terribly fast.

tl;dr: there's no way the USPS would count an electronic device as a paper book for media mail purposes, anyway.

An interesting question (as applies to dedicated e-readers vs. tablets).  There are those play-away items that include hardware...which IIRC can travel via Media Mail, but they are dedicated to one individual (audio) book. 

My first thought would also be no, E-readers do not qualify for Media Mail rates...and venders usually ship them Priority.
