If it's a WL book, it might have rolled over a few times if it was cancelled or timed out on the first requestor.

Misty, when you are caught in a serial rollover situation is when you just have to chant..."I am helping to weed out inactive members"!

Not so fast....

I have a book in my "pending/requested" that was from my wishlist. Date Requested was Feb 11th. "the book owner has until Feb 16 to mark it mailed" (not accepted.... yet)

There are 20+ people in line after me, also waiting for the book. (Silk is for Seduction by Loretta Chase)

Same person is (supposed to be) sending the book as the day it auto-requested from my wishlist.

perhaps a glitch in the programming?

Ms K, it is only 2 days for offering a WL book, the book owner has 5 days to accept it and say when they will be mailing it by.

So YOU had 2 days to accept. The book owner has 5 days. That is normal and not a glitch.

MsK, if it says they have til Feb. 16 to mark it mailed, that would be at the end of the day today, so they are still within that time frame...If they don't mark it mailed by then, the order is terminated and you go back on the wishlist.

Misty, there are two different timeframes involved...if it's a wishlist book, that's where the 48 hours comes in, on the part of the person the book is *offered* to...so if this was a wishlist book offered to you, YOU have 48 hours to accept the offer. The person sending the book has much longer than that to mail the book. If this is a book you just ordered from the system, then the person you request from has five days to accept the offer before it rolls over.

The system is working, I had two wishlisted books (posted by the same member) time-out this morning.  The days can be a bit confusing, but PBS FIFO works just fine laugh
