I am just starting "three bags full" and was wondering about others thoughts on it.  So far it is ok, but am still having a hard time with it.

It is on the way to me, it looks like a good read.

I thought it was wonderful! The sheep are as nuanced, individual and personable as any human cast of characters you'll find, and their observations of the human characters are both funny in their (the sheep's) literal interpretations (they think the local minister is "God"), but also offer some "deeper" insight into human behavior as well. The finale at the Mad Boar is laugh out loud funny. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would buy a sequel of the sheep's further adventures in a heartbeat!

At times I thought the book was a bit odd but I did end up enjoying the book. I think all of the talking and thinking sheep were a little of why I had a hard time with it but then it became fun to read. Stick with the book as I found it easier to read after a few chapters!

Thanks for the insights.  I agree that I am having a hard time with the thinking and talking sheep.  But I think I will stick with it.  It sounds good.  Thanks again.
