Three books in one. Stories are: Morning Glory -- Vows -- and The Gamble.

In Morning Glory, Elly Dinsmore is a young widow with two young sons and a third child on the way, struggling to manage a farm on her own. Will Parker is a lonely, lanky drifter who roams into town with the clothes on his back as his only possessions.

In Vows, Strong-willed and saucy, tomboyish Emily Walcott has always had big dreams. Stubbornly defying the mores of turn of the century society, she dresses like a man and works in her father's livery stables while studying veterinary medicine by correspondence.

In The Gamble, the spinster milliner of Proffitt, Kansas, Agatha Downing, is as prim as a Quaker bonnet, yet her fiery green eyes and fanciful hats tell more than her passionless demeanor.

Three great stories from a gifted writer. Although they were a little too sexually explicit for my tastes, still the story lines were compelling. LaVyrle Spender is a wonderful writer, although these three were much more "racy" than "Small Town Girl".

The HELLION
Rachel is a beautiful young socialite and a widow. Tommy Lee is the town rabble-rouser. Can the two high school sweethearts overcome their differences for a second chance at love?

SEPARATE BEDS
Catherine Anderson and Clay Forrester come from two completely different worlds, but one blind date leaves them forever linked. Clay, a handsome law student, and Catherine, a serious, bookish undergrad, experience an evening they will never forget. Fortified by the beauty of the night, as well as a bottle of wine, they share a night together. A few short months later, Catherine discovers she's pregnant. They agree to a marriage of convenience, an arrangement that suits them both-until they begin to fall in love.

HUMMINGBIRD
A lonely nurse takes in two wounded men she finds on her doorstep. Gentle David wins her with his kind ways, but it is fierce, rude Jesse who sets her heart on fire.
