Not a great book, It was okay. It is written like the first in a series. It has some interesting characters but they aren't developed very well.

I just finished this book. It was an interesting concept, but I felt that it was lacking in delivery. I felt that there was a lot missing, and kept waiting for it to unfold. But it didn't and it seemed that it should have a sequel. You never really find out what happens to the main charters in the end, or why things happened in the first place. It wasn't very well explained. Also I thought that the author just kind of wrapped things up to just end the story. The charters were interesting, but really needed to be more developed. I wish the author had taken the time to do so. It could have been a great book, or series. Pretty disappointed.I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, which is a bummer since it's on my bookshelf.

Very captivating read. If you love magic and fantasy then you will absolutely devour this book. Tells the tale of three sisters, each with their own different parts of the book, while they battle in fierce wars of the heart and for their virtue. The book skips around just a little bit but if you can keep up with it, its a wonderful read :)

"Rebecca Locksley writes with a freshness and vigor rare in today's crowded market. Her characters are a dextrous mixture of the astute, the delightful, and the deceptive." - Sara Douglass
