The 20s-something author chronicles his road trip from Houston to Oregon, traveling with a buddy on a shoe-string budget in a VW van that breaks down more than once. As expected, they meet colorful characters while traversing through the deserts of Arizona, exploring the Grand Canyon, and driving up the West Coast. I liked this book's leisurely pace, it's especially well-suited for LISTENING on audio. Bonus that it's humor is PG-rated instead of R-rated.
