The Last page of this book left me feeling like I was leaving 4 friends.I loved it!Every Thursday at eight four women meet for breakfast-and to talk.To tell their stories, recount their sorrows and their joys. And to offer each other encouragement and unstinting support.
3or 4 stars. It was a good read -- the author did an excellent job of setting up the background and giving you the feelings of these women. I felt like I could really identify. Also, I loved how these characters helped each other. I felt like I'd like to know them.
Great book! A story about 4 women at different points in their lives, but who found a common bond with each other. Each one's story was interesting and believeable. Debbie Macomber was able to keep the story lines interesting, yet simple to read. Some authors would have really over written this type of story. Very good, hated to see it end!
