The Last page of this book left me feeling like I was leaving 4 friends.I loved it!Every Thursday at eight four women meet for breakfast-and to talk.To tell their stories, recount their sorrows and their joys. And to offer each other encouragement and unstinting support.
3or 4 stars. It was a good read -- the author did an excellent job of setting up the background and giving you the feelings of these women. I felt like I could really identify. Also, I loved how these characters helped each other. I felt like I'd like to know them.
I really hate to see Debbie Macomber books end.
After a journaling class is completed, 4 women continue to meet and share and support each other's lives: a divorce, a widow, a woman in her forties who discovers she is pregnant, and a twenty year old.
Truly excellent. I loved how accurate Debbie Macomber is when describing the different women - it's as if she has had experience with all the women's situations. Really good book.
