Wanna be like Sting and make your love tantric? Then this book is for you. It's a translation of Treatise on Passion by Tibetan monk Gedun Chopel. Originally written more than 50 years ago, some of the scientific "facts" cited by the author are untrue in a literal sense. Neverthelss, Chopel was ahead of his time in recognizing the legal and societal oppression faced by women and how that oppression affects every aspect of their lives, including intimate relationships. The book posits that women have an equal right to sexual fulfillment, and provides detailed instructions to her partner.
Part how-to book, part sociological discussion, part theological treatise, this is a great read for someone interested in tantric sex as a subject, not just a sensation.
