I had one of my top wishlisted books offered to me, and after looking at the person's bookshelf found another book I wanted. Both were accepted and she sent me a pm telling me she would send both books together.

Well, tonight at 11:00 is the deadline for her to mail the books, what I see is Mar. 19 at 11:00 but that means she has until tonight, is that right?

She's  sent out a lot of books, and I really don't want to bother her, but should I send a pm today, along the lines of "looking forward to getting my books!" ? I don't want to be a nuisance, but I've been so excited about getting both books!

She'll get an automatic reminder from PBS, so I'd just let the system deal with it.

And you never know...the book could be in the mail already.

I've mailed books in the morning but due to work or errands or whatever that keeps me away from the computer, I have not marked a book mailed until later in the day.

Just a thought.

Yeah, PBS sends out a reminder, so I don't think you need to.

It can't hurt to PM her and ask is she forgot to mark them mailed.  If she doesn't mark them mailed, it'll reorder the non-WL book for you and possibly the WL book if it's posted again soon.  I'm horrible about checking email.  I'm more likely to see a PM when I come on here than an email from PBS.

I think you should just let the system deal with it rather than possibly annoy the sender.

Personally, I wouldn't.  As a sender I would find that annoying.

Right now I can't print the wrappers from PBS because my printer has gone on strike!   So I try to be very sure that I mark the ones I've mailed as mailed ASAP after mailing.  But not everyone has my kind of time...and sometimes people forget that they have something in the car to mail!  (Like my son!)  I don't check my email all that often - many people find that odd about me.  And I find it odd that there are commercials and web-sites complaining about all the email people have to deal with.  Guess I just don't think it's that important!  Anyway - I, too, am most likely to see a PM rather than an email!  I also have email addresses for personal use and for use for sites and shopping.  It really cuts down on the spam that I have to deal with when I do check email!

BTW - how do you find out where you are (waiting) on a WL for a book?  I'm on several!

I'd say no.......I had a WL book going to a person and , or so the records showed...but it wasn't marked as received till I  checked the  DC though the PO and saw that the book was delivered.  I then PMed the person and aparently she forgot to mark it mamiled...she marked it delievers and everyone was happy,
