This sequel-prequel to the 1942 classic Casablanca is fun and even better, it fills in missing Casablanca background.

A must-read for any fan of this movie classic. The book picks up right where we left off and takes you on a journey consistent with the feeling of the original characters. Everything from the tone of the book and the way it reads, to the character's witty banter and snarky attitude, are all captured from the movie and reproduced in print form to complete the story of Casablanca.

This story takes place right after the plane leaves Casablanca with Ilsa and Victor. It tells what might have happened afterwards with the main characters. It also flashes back to the past and tells about Rick's time in New York and covers why he had to leave and can't return.

It has a plotline that involves the main characters and is quite interesting.

A good read...er...listen as this is the tape version. :)
