It's not like anything I've ever read before, I've never heard of genetic memories, I absolutely could not put it down. I read it far into the night, staying awake much longer than I should have.
I don't remember all the details of the book, but I wrote notes inside the cover: "June 20 1986 I Love This Book!". Then again, "Second reading - April 1988 - Loved it better this time!". I rarely read books more than once - only this book and all of Jack Finney's in the same genre.
