This is an incredibe story from the Grand Master of true, hard Sci-Fi. "Other" beings who may, or may not, be the origin of man are "developing" mankind as almost a toy or passtime. There is also a CD included.

Interesting approach to a different timeline story. The book also has the accompanying CD which has an electronic copy of the book, interviews with the authors, and background material to the story.
