I feel like I am losing my mind.  Please help!  Within the last couple years I read a book about a woman who is kept in a casket and then buried alive.  The funeral director who buried her used one of those Victorian grave bells that hang on the grave but are connected to a string inside the casket and I believe that is how she was found alive.  It is fiction and for a long time I kept thinking it was Mary Higgins Clark but I can't find anything she wrote like this.  If anyone has read this book or knows of it please help.  I was talking about it a couple days ago and I have 3 people who want to read it and embarrassingly I can't provide the title or author.  Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!!

Robin

The only title that comes to my mind is "The Fall Of The House Of Usher"  by Edgar Allen Poe.   Could this be the book you are looking for??

No it's modern times setting just used the Victorian bells.  Thanks for trying though!  It's so frustrating to not be able to remember!  :-(

Ok, I found it!  It IS Mary Higgins Clark and it's called Moonlight Becomes You!  I recommend it if you haven't already read it!  Thanks for those for looking and trying to help!  Happy reading to all!
