I don't know where else to post this.  Several years ago, I read an enjoyable mystery about a single mother in the suburbs who started a detective agency.  I loved it and was hoping someone could help me to find it again. Unfortunately I am vague on all the details!  No title, no author, not even a great memory of the plot.  I am not hopeful but thought I'd give it a shot.  TIA

Could be the Mommy Track mystery series by Ayelet Waldman (The Big Nap, Nursery Crimes, Death Gets a Time-Out).

There's the Jane Jeffries series by Jill Churchill, but the mother does not open a detective agency, she just falls into things.

How about When Death Comes Stealing, by Valerie Wilson Wesley? (Tamara Hayle series). Former cop, single mom, P.I.

If none of these is a fit, I'll try to think of more, or someone else will surely have some ideas.

Probably not it because it's more about demon hunters but there is Julie Kenner's series - Adventures of a Demon-Hunting soccer mom. The first one is Carpe Demon.
