I LOVE this book! There are so many great wonderful inexpensive (often free) ideas for toddlers. Their play is SERIOUS learning time and this gives them more ways to learn! The spirit of the book has helped me remember that it's okay to get messy! 20mins of good safe play and a ten minute happy clean up is better than 30mins of a kid getting into trouble b/c they are bored and the resulting often longer clean up. I try to plan a handful of things to do each day before I go to bed to have them ready for the next day. Then, whenever I sense the kids need something to do I have an idea all ready to go. LOVE it!
Lots of ideas of fun stuff to do with your little ones whether you're at stuck in traffic, trapped in a dentist waiting room, trying to get the grocery shopping done, or at home spending quality time together. This book includes everyday activities and some suggestions for different holidays too.
this book has wonderful ideas for things to do with toddlers, some of which are very fun for adults too. it brought back memories of my childhood. great stress reliever. it's always the simple things that kids like the best.
So many good ideas... I've only read a few of them and I'm already excited to try them out on my 16 month old! I love the first chapter "Organization" with ideas for boxes full of things for different occasions.. like when you're busy in the kitchen, or in a line at the store, or on a rainy day. I can see already that this book will prove invaluable for us!
