I finished this book a couple days ago.  I really liked it.  I admit, there are some parts that pushed the limits of plausability with the mom's mental illness.  But the truth is, I've known even weirder people in real life, so I was able to look past that.

The book is written in the believable, charming voice of eleven-year-old Ellie.  I think that's really hard to do.  I don't want to give a ton away, but I do want to encourage others to pick up a copy of it and give it a go.  I'm glad I did.

It's on my Reminder List. Did you post it?

Isn't the author a member of PBS?

I've had it on my WL for awhile. Looks like a good one.

I finished it a few days ago, and loved it!  I reviewed it in my blog, and let the author know, and she was nice enough to respond :)

To answer the question whether I will post it:  I want to lend it to my sister and aunt first.  We have kind of a reading circle.  Then maybe I will.

I just added it to my Wish List.

Good recommendation there!

My copy of Tomato Girlts  has begun it's road trip to its new house.  Of course I do hope its new owners treat it well and allow it to travel.
