Ok I had 1 credit left and one book still out there to be delivered. Today I got the email that the book was marked received. When I went into my account it had taken my credit instead of giving me one. Has this ever happened to anyone hear and do you have any suggestions for me? TIA Cindy

It could be a glitch, but also double-check your transaction archive and make you weren't granted a wishlist book you had on auto-request- that would automatically take a credit from you.

That just popped into my head as a possiblity since I got one myself today!

Nope not a wish book as I don't have any on a wish list. But it's a good thought. I hope it is just a glitch. I have been having a lot of problems with PBS lately. Thinking it might be time to give it up?

Julie

That was a good idea. Didn't know you could do that. It shows I got a credit but I didn't so I don't know what to do. But it was weird some of the books I recently received and had marked mailed said request was cancelled. I don't know.

Thanks for your help! Happy Holidays!

I think you should send a message to the PBS team (use the Contact Us link at the bottom of any page).  They can let you know what is going on--whether or not you are missing something.  You can also check your Club Communications under your account tab and see if you've missed an email.

I meant that books I have RECEIVED and the person sending had marked MAILED had request cancelled under transactions page.

I agree  - it's time to call in the PBS team. Please contact them from the link at the bottom of the page.  Those of us out here can't see what's going on - but they can.  It's less time and more professional!

When you go to the OPs site, it says the account has been suspended or closed.  Pat

Well, it happens when businesses and sites have "growing pains".  The OP had only made 4 posts here so she was a member that participated only with the system working for her and not exploring more of the site.  I say that because had she been exploring she would have come across many things that would have made her wonder more about it here.  Great things like PBS take some time and use to get the full benefits and the forums are among the most central ways to learn. I've contacted many new people on here - as well as some old members who have never "had the time" or had "the interest" to venture further than listing their books and waiting.  I think that is sad.

Some new people do not have the time to explore and find out about everything on the site.  I have been a member for a few months now and just began to find all the forums, games and information on my vacation.  This is an awesome site!  I agree it is sad that more people don't take the time to be part of the community. I have met someone who I am communicating with that just joined last month.  I will be telling her about all the things that I have learned the last few days about PBS and encouraging her to get active.  I was not aware of how much was avaibable before.  I look forward to being an active member of PBS (time permitting).
