Who knows why it keeps happening, but I would contact PBS ASAP to make them aware of the problem as well as asking their help in making sure that it is only offered to the person next in line.

Bertie, usually the PBS staff is pretty good about responding to Feedback submitted.  Try this:  You should indicate clearly in your next Feedback message to them that you would like a response, and also indicate in the message and maybe also the subject line that this is not your first message to them regarding this problem.   Something like:  Second request / I have not yet received response.

I know the Team receives a LOT of messages and perhaps they thought that fixing your shelf was response enough, or perhaps the response somehow fell through the cracks.  Sending a new request for response with indications such as I've suggested may help.

This has happened to me on occasion too when coming off vacation hold, who knows why but I know we're not the only ones, Bertie. I usually end up just cancelling the second request and explaining what happened--never have had a problem with the person not understanding. But it would be nice to be able to not worry about it happening--obviously it's a problem as it's happened to others, too.

For future reference Bertie - make sure you only click the buttons once and do not attempt to refresh the screen while a process might be happening. Usually the double posting happen because of a system glitch or the member gets impatient with how long something is taking and clicks again or refreshes the screen while the system is in the process of posting. Since it is happening so much to you, it may be something you are doing while the system is working in the background causing it to post twice. Just click the button to remove the vacatioin hold and then give the system a minute to finish all of its processes before doing anything else.

When I have sent in Feedback, I have to go look in the "Club Communications" link to see if they have answered. I do not know if they send email when they answer a feedback, but they do NOT send a PM.

So, you may have responses in Club Communications.

Go to your My Account page

On the yellow bar that goes across the top ... you will see a blue link for "Club Communications".  (same way as you get to "Credit Registry")

I always check Club Communications.  Occasionally my spam folder will eat the emails from PBS (even with it on my safelist) but by checking Club Communications I always know I haven't missed anything.

Every time I've sent in Feedback to the Team I've gotten a response.  The only time I didn't hear back within a few days, they emailed me a few weeks later and apolgoized by my message got lost in a sea of messages and somehow got overlooked.  So I still did get a response that time, it just took awhile.  wink
