Written a lot like Angela's Ashes, very elementary, and somewhat confusing if you're not paying attention. The topic is interesting but the author's point of view is very blah. She doesn't even care...about anyting. So it's hard to care about what she's writing about.

I was excited to read this book, but was quickly let down. The subject was interesting, but at times, it just seemed so unbelievable, which was a real disappointment. The only good thing I can say is that it's simple writing style with minimal character development made this an extremely quick read.

I loved this book. It was such a unique story. It was sad, about a girl who I think was just trying to find some friends and her place in life and all the horrors and differnt people she meets and how she changes from the girl she was to the girl she grows into.
