I like all the books in this series about a strange "vampire" called the thrall, which needs a host. This 3rd in the series is less interesting to me because it has a bit more focus on the heroine's personal relationship difficulties with a werewolf than usual. I prefer the books where the primary focus is on fighting the thrall.
